Africa Health Consulting Alliance (AHCA–Ghana)
Welcome to the Office of the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Africa Health Consulting Alliance (AHCA–Ghana). The CTO’s office serves as the technical hub of the organization, providing strategic leadership, technical oversight, and quality assurance across all programmatic and operational units. Our mission is to ensure that AHCA-Ghana consistently delivers high-quality, evidence-based solutions that strengthen health systems and improve health outcomes across Ghana and the wider African region.
The Office of the CTO oversees several technical divisions that uphold AHCA-Ghana dedication to robust, effective, and data-driven health systems. Among these is the Health Information Systems (HIS) division, which is mandated to enhance data management and fortify digital health infrastructure to facilitate evidence-based decision-making. Additionally, the office oversees the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) & Program Design and Evaluation unit, which guarantees that programs are well-thought-out, successfully executed, and regularly evaluated for impact.
The Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) & Digital Innovations and Evaluation team, which creates cutting-edge tactics and technology to improve health system performance and service delivery, is also supervised by the office of the CTO. To assist sustainable development in the health sector, the office also provides oversight role to the Technical Assistance & Capacity Building sub-division mandated to provide governments and organizations with professional advice, training, and mentorship. The office also coordinates Regional Field Coordinators, who play a critical role in facilitating program implementation, stakeholder engagement, and field-level monitoring across regions
The Office of the CTO guarantees technical excellence, fosters innovation, and provides governments, partners, and communities with workable solutions that improve population health and build health systems through strong coordination among different organizations.
